Once you’ve chosen your fibreglass pool shell and equipment, we'll finalise the details and get started on manufacturing your DIY pool right here in our factory.
All it takes is a 30% deposit to secure your pool and book a spot in production.
Step 4: Get Ready for Your Pool Installation
Now, a few things you'll need to tick off:
Get your building permits sorted:
Every pool needs a building permit before installation. As an ‘owner-builder’, it's your responsibility to organise this, but don’t stress—we'll provide all the engineering drawings and a Certificate of Compliance. You'll also need a white card and an Owner-Builder Application through the local Building Authority. Need help? Just give us a shout – we can recommend contacts to assist with permits if needed.
Start planning your excavation:
We can help with the digging specifications and guide you through site preparation. Don’t forget to check Dial Before You Dig to avoid any underground surprises and easements!
Make sure you're safety compliant:
In Australia, pool fencing is required both during construction and after your pool is finished. You'll need a temporary safety barrier first, then permanent fencing inspected and approved by your Building Surveyor or Council. If your fence crosses an easement, you might need an extra permit. Need help? Just give us a call – we can recommend contacts to assist with temporary and permanent fencing.
Step 5: Delivery & Installation
Once your site is prepped and permits are sorted, just schedule a delivery date that suits you. Your fibreglass pool kit, including your pool shell, will arrive safely, ready for installation.
